On the Coffee Trail: Kaffeine

There’s almost nothing better than finding somewhere that’s so close to the madness, yet feels so far away. The kind of close-to-madness that Kaffeine’s Great Titchfield Street store offers, whilst nestled in the heart of Fitzrovia, a few short minutes from Oxford Circus.

Kaffeine is an Australian style café, with a huge focus on pairing great coffee with great food and impeccable customer service. The store offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and as it’s a relatively confined space, the smell of the coffee and food makes it perhaps the most enticing little place.

There are plenty of little treats to choose from, and the menu is constantly changing and evolving. If you happen to visit and they’re serving the courgette, pea and feta scroll, then I cannot recommend it enough! If you prefer something a little more sweet with your coffee, then you’ll be spoilt for choice, as they have a pretty big selection of fresh cakes and bites to accompany your beverage.

The members of staff are genuinely passionate about the craft and it shows, with great care and attention being paid to every cup. With all baristas who work in the store having a minimum of three years experience behind an espresso machine, you know that your coffee is in great hands.

The Great Titchfield Street branch of Kaffeine is like a little oasis amidst the chaos of Central London. It excels at all the things it aspires to be, making it one of, if not the best coffee shops in London.
