Fleet River Bakery

Fleet River Bakery’s location is a key part of its charm - nestled into a corner of Lincoln’s
Inn Fields, just behind Holborn Station, it is conveniently central and sweetly tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

Here you’ll find a lovely bakery and coffee shop in rustic decor, with wooden tables and counter tops, and an incredible assortment of savoury lunch foods and mouth-watering sweet snacks. Some lunch options include soups and gazpachos, quiches, frittatas, and pasta dishes. Regular cake options include banana and walnut, carrot, and Victoria sponge (all deliciously
 moist). The bakery also offers catering services and cake orders, so you can take their fantastic food away for an external event. Alternatively, the venue and catering service is available for hire in the evenings.

Beyond the incredible food and drink selection, Fleet River Bakery’s layout completes its charm. Set over two floors, the front room and back room on the ground floor with their enormous windows are light and airy, ideal for students studying or a a quick business meeting. The back room in particular, with its wide and long tables, lends itself perfectly to the solitary visitor catching up on some reading over cake and tea. 

Finally, the basement room - darker, cosier, with an eclectic mix of plush sofas and coffee
tables, and wooden tables and chairs, and prints of flowers decorating the walls - is the spot to retreat to for some intimate cosy time away from the hubbub of the busy streets upstairs. Here you feel disconnected from London, nicely taken out for a time from the chaos of the city. This is the perfect place to laze comfortably while catching up with a friend or convene for a lunch with family.
