Gelato Festival comes to London

This summer you can enjoy 100 flavours of Italian-style gelato, created specifically to celebrate the 2016 Gelato Festival. Get those plastic bibs at the ready!

Now in its seventh edition, the Gelato Festival is the most important event in the world of Italian gelato making. It is a travelling festival, that includes stops around Italy and Europe over a period of 5 months. The tour hits London from June 24th to July 3rd. The tour features three unique food trucks created for the festival: a workshop, the trucks double up as an events area and tasting venue.

The Gelato Festival is also a European competition that rewards the best Italian and foreign gelato makers, who bring their own, specially created flavours to the 2016 Festival. 
The votes of a panel of expert judges and those from one made up of members of the public will decide on the winner of each individual stage and then the European winner of the final stage in Florence, Italy.
