Chicken Liquor Brixton

Reaquainting myself with the infamous grog was truly a rewarding experience. Memories of legendary office dinners after a hard day's teching, welcome to the media industry folks!

So with my see you next Tuesday code in hand, I swayed towards the Brixton arcades. I'm not one for the new "boutique Brixton" but there are some perks to having a miniture shoreditch so close to you. I was solemly disappointed as the milkshake machine was being cleaned which meant no hard shakes. I fained weeping as the news was broken to me.

After that our all knowing waiter gave us a summary of the menu AND anwsered the tougest questions my companion and I could come up with.

The wait for the food was another blow, to make matters worse the restaurant was nowhere near heaving.

However a decadent display of fried goodness did soon arrive. The tower burger in all its wonky glory; dead hippie fries crispy yet soft from caresses of onions and that lucious dead hippie sauce; BBQ bites, tender cuts of chicken drenched in tangy marinate; finished with too tall tantilising grogs.  The tower burger did knock my senses for a bit, mcdonalds has nothing on this.

A must visit if you want a taste of chicken heaven.
